T.I.Y. Chair
The Tie-It-Yourself chair is stabilised by the woven and knotted elements, working together with the steel modules. Rather than creating a rigid structure on which to apply soft upholstery, this chair relies on textile elements to complete the structure.
Intended as a playful, interactive object, the T.I.Y. chair allows you to explore the relationship between rigid and soft materials. Combining the joys of D.I.Y flat-packing with craft kits, it can be easily added to, modified and customised by the user.
